On this splendid lake we will travel with our canoe and sing songs like the coureur des bois and the voyageurs did in the early years of the fur trade! A trip excellent for the family and friends or for an occasion such as a wedding anniversary or a birthday ect… We also stop for a little swim at a cozy little beach and if you wish to catch a few fish, this is just the lake for you.
Our trips run in the morning afternoon or in the evening !

NEW POST FALLS
Experience our most scenic tour, a full day out on the mighty Abitibi River, a famous fur trade "highway" used for hundreds of years by the voyageurs and the coureur des bois. We'll paddle down this river located on the 50th parallel and perhaps catch a glimpse of some of the abundant wildlife in the area. Our destination is the incredible 100 ft waterfalls at the mouth of the New Post River. On the way down, we'll visit the site of the Hudson Bay Company trading post used in the 1800s . Come with your family and friends to live the New Post Falls experience and the natural beauty of the area. Don’t forget your camera! New post falls an experience you won’t forget!
POPLAR RIVER
We start our day at the Northern Spirit Adventures meeting point and then make our way to the Indian Lake boat launch. We'll paddle our way across pristine Indian lake to the mouth of the Poplar River. The Poplar is a small river traveled for centuries by trappers and the aboriginal people for the purpose of hunting , fishing and trapping . This trip is perfect for the bird watchers and for wildlife enthusiasts. There is plenty of wildlife here including moose, bear, wolf , beavers , geese ducks, etc…This is an excellent trip for anyone who likes adventure, tranquility and the feeling of being alone with mother nature. On our way we will stop for a delicious picnic at noon exchange story and adventure and continue on our journey!
